Our story
Firsd Tea brings Chinese tea and botanicals to North America, direct from one of China's largest tea exporters.
Our producers' farms and factories have run without a break since 1950. They rank among China's largest tea producers and exporters, and among its most technically advanced.
The range: EU-compliant conventional tea. Organic tea from China's first organic producer, organic since 1989. CO2-decaffeinated tea from one of only two such plants in China. And solvent-free extracts, including instant tea, tea polyphenols and EGCG.
Old craft, modern control
Our producers export more than 40,000 tons a year: green, black, white, oolong, pu'er, scented and specialty teas. They were the first to revive sencha and matcha, teas born in China in the Song dynasty.
We monitor every step, from planting and harvest to processing and packing, so we can vouch for every lot.

Sustainability
We offer tea from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms, and Firsd Tea is a Fair Trade Certified trader. How farmers and their land are treated matters as much as the tea.
